GENERAL FRAME AND MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE

The organization of the course will be as follows : 


  • ALL THE TASKS ARE COMPULSORY
  • PLEASE, RESPECT THE DEADLINES 


Outline for the participants:
  • THEORY FRAME . In this section and the different modules you will find articles, writings, web pages to read (optionally) about STORYTELLING  and a list of additional sources you may be interested in checking.

  2. Aula Planeta.  What DST is. Types of DS to teach and learn. How to create a DS in 8 steps. (page in Spanish) 
  3. Edutopia. Why Storytelling in the classroom matters  (very good content) 
  4. EdutopiaEmpowering Students Through Multimedia Storytelling
  5. DS : Promoting Literacy Through Technology
These are some of the hundreds resources you can find about DST. Any suggestions to increase the list will be welcome! 

  • DIFFERENT MODULES in which you will work the different contents of the course. 

The participants will be required to create  a digital support or a VLE (virtual learning environment) in which all the contents of the course, tasks, resources, tools, videos and all the materials we use and create throughout, can be posted and kept for further use in the future. YOU HAVE TO CREATE THE DIGITAL SUPPORT WITH THE AIM OF BEING USED IN YOUR CLASS. DESIGN IT FOR CLASS USE WITH YOUR STUDENTS.

Each blog domain or web page domain  will be posted in the PADLET that has been created for this purpose with the objective of sharing your work and your progress with the rest of the participants. 
 In case you have never created a blog, instructions will be provided. 


TOOLS TO BE USED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE :  we are going to use these web tools in our course with the aim of providing very interesting and effective ways to work with  YOUR STUDENTS  in YOUR CLASSES.
