MODULE 5

DST WITH MOBILE APPS and FINAL TASK


In this module you will be given different tools to create stories using mobile devices. 
THIS MODULE CONTAINS JUST EXTRA MATERIAL that you can use optionally for your final task.
In most schools students are not allowed to bring their mobile devices (BYOD) so you may not have the opportunity to work with the tools we are going to present in this module. But knowing about them can be very attractive for you, DIGITAL TEACHERS!!! So, I highly RECOMMEND you to have an attentive look at them !!!

MODULE 4

Collaborative storytelling involves a group where one writer starts the story and others keep on adding threads to it, and thus the story evolves. The imagination of the community gives a digital story a path one wouldn’t have thought of at the start.

MODULE 3

COMICS, AVATARS, VOICE  and VIDEO to create your stories. 
In this module you will find a list with different resources to create your stories using  videos, comics, avatar creation and voice recording. Remember that most of the tools we present can be used for many other purposes apart from storytelling. You can encourage your students to use them for presentations or for ANY learning task.

STORYTELLING THROUGH PREZI AND INFOGRAPHICS

Create your stories using prezi and infographics.

    TASKS TO BE HANDED OUT : 

    TASK 1. 

    1. Create a story using PREZI thinking about using it with your students. 
    2. Take into account the "interesting considerations before starting" section on this module. 
    3. Submit the link of your prezi .
    4. Insert the link of your prezi in your blog in the page named MODULE 2. 
    5. Write your comments about your task on the page where you insert your prezi. 

    TASK 2.
    1. Create a story using one of the infographic tools given in the module.
    2. Submit the link of your infography.
    3. Insert the infography in your blog on the page named MODULE 2. 
    4. Write a comment on your task in the blog page.

    MODULE 1

    INSTRUCTIONS TO WORK ON MODULE 1.

    • Create your personal blog or web page (see "we are bloggers" page on this blog). Be creative! Insert images, photos, videos, any attractive and motivating material! 
    • Change blog page language to English (settings). 
    • Set your profile with bits of information about you.
    • Home page, first entry. Once you have read the links posted in this blog ("general frame and main objectives of the course.Theory frame." ) write a paragraph commenting the following items: 
    1. what is storytelling for you? 
    2. why Digital Storytelling in class? 
    3. your expectations and goals with this course.

    • Insert your blog domain in our PADLET (just double click on the wall to write and insert different gadgets) to be visited by all the participants registered in this course.
